				Prospective members and visitors are welcome to attend chapter 
				meetings.  The Stoney Creek Chapter meets on the first or 
				second Saturday of the month, August through December and 
				February through May. Monthly membership meetings are a time of reflection, celebration, socializing, and engaging in the many activities that makes DAR so special. There are presentations by chapter members and special speakers, as well as monthly business items and protocols. During every meeting, we honor our nation’s flag, and learn about our nation during the Revolutionary War time period. There are special reports and displays offered by chapter members, and often there is an identified charitable organization that chapter members donate time and/or items to, such as Rochester Area Neighborhood House, HAVEN, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, local food pantries, and many more. Our chapter loves investing time in literacy awareness, women’s issues, active military, veterans, and conservation. Stoney Creek is well represented by chapter members at various local and state events.   In addition, we also participate in
